Beyond the numbers, 2025 was about turning insights into action. From expanding into new regions and languages, to helping agencies identify opportunities for real-world improvements, this year reinforced the role Mosaiq plays in supporting transit teams worldwide.
At Snapper Services, our focus remains the same: enabling better public transit experiences that are reliable, efficient, and sustainable. This year has strengthened the foundation for Mosaiq’s continued growth – and set the stage for even more progress in 2026.
Evidence that improvements work: validating real-world change with Mosaiq
One of the main highlights of 2025 was watching Mosaiq in action, measuring the real-world impact of improvements. Transit authorities and operators worldwide used the platform to confirm that their upgrades were truly delivering the results they aimed for.
This year’s success stories included:
West Sussex County Council used Mosaiq’s stop-level data to track journey times following traffic signal upgrades, spotting improvements such as a 10-second saving at one junction - a small change that compounds across the network.
West Northamptonshire Council built a new public transport team from scratch and turned complex bus data into clear, actionable insights with Mosaiq - boosting reporting speed, operator collaboration, and passenger confidence.
Hull City Council saw a shift from slow, manual data wrangling to fast, actionable insights, enabling daily cancellation tracking, stop analysis and more constructive discussions with operators.
Transport for Wales selected Mosaiq for a nationwide deployment, giving them the insights to shape the future of public transport across Wales.
Jacksonville Transportation Authority, applying Mosaiq insights to build a more consistent understanding of service performance, including tackling delays on key routes and improving On Time Performance by 13%.
Kent Fastrack used Mosaiq to monitor trip performance, identify delays, and adjust operations in response, enabling them to improve reliability and consistently achieve 91% On-Time Performance for three consecutive months.
Each story reflects the same theme: when authorities and operators can quantify the difference, they can make more confident decisions and better communicate progress to their teams and communities. For Miki Szikszai, CEO of Snapper Services, seeing this impact firsthand has been the highlight of 2025:
“The highlight of 2025 for me has been seeing our customers and users all over the world understand and improve the performance of their Public Transit networks. Our users continually tell us that Mosaiq is a faster and easier way to understand how performance has changed, identify where to focus their improvement efforts and make evidence-based investment decisions. We know that making small and continuous improvements is the most effective way to lift Public Transit performance. And when the Public Transit experience is at the level where it is a genuine choice over taking the car, cities become easier to live in and we all contribute to reducing carbon emissions. We know we are on the right track when we see Mosaiq contribute to improved network performance, faster and more reliable services and real time-saving for planning and operations teams. We're only getting started and we're looking forward to even more impact in 2026”
Expanding access: Mosaiq becomes multilingual and reaches 28+ countries
2025 marked a key milestone for Mosaiq with the rollout of its multilingual functionality. By translating the platform into additional languages, we opened the door for authorities and operators across more than 28 countries to work more confidently in their own environment.
This shift wasn’t just about localisation - it was about accessibility. Teams can now collaborate more easily, onboard staff more quickly, and align their operations around shared insights, no matter where they’re based. As Mosaiq’s global footprint continues to grow, this foundation will make it easier for new regions to adopt transit intelligence in a way that feels intuitive from day one.
Building on last year’s momentum: the first major expansion of the Global Public Transit Index
After launching the Mosaiq Global Public Transit Index (GPTI) in 2024, this year marked its first significant expansion: Spotlight on England.
This new report explored On-Time Performance across English regions, giving local authorities and operators something they’ve asked for repeatedly - a way to understand their services in a national context. By comparing performance region by region, the Spotlight helped surface what was working well, where challenges persisted, and how local trends compared to the broader landscape. It was encouraging to see strong performance from Transport for Greater Manchester as they completed the Bee Network. It was a reminder to other regions that data quality needs to improve if you want a reliable evidence base to make network improvements.
It also showed the growing appetite for data-driven benchmarking and set the tone for more region-specific Spotlight editions in the future.
A year of data processing growth
2025 also saw Mosaiq processing significantly more data than ever before, reflecting both growing adoption and deeper insights for transit teams. Monthly scheduled trips in Mosaiq Insights increased from 25 million in December 2024 to over 40 million by November 2025, while monthly heartbeat records grew from 5.2 billion to 8.7 billion over the same period.
This growth has driven improvements across the platform. Behind the scenes, we focused on strengthening system performance, ensuring data processes run efficiently, and making sure Mosaiq scales seamlessly as workloads expand.
The result is a more resilient platform that delivers faster processing and clearer insights, giving authorities and operators confidence in the data they rely on to make decisions. These enhancements may not always be visible, but they form the foundation for the real-world improvements highlighted throughout the year.
Strengthening our foundations: Mosaiq achieves AWS Government Competency
Another highlight this year was Mosaiq achieving the AWS Government Competency - an important recognition that reinforces the platform’s reliability, scalability, and cloud-native architecture.
This milestone supports everything we’ve built and everything still to come. It provides the assurance that authorities and operators investing in Mosaiq are backed by infrastructure that is designed to grow with them, integrate smoothly, and deliver consistent performance as their needs evolve.
Connecting with the transit community around the world
2025 was also a year filled with conversations, workshops, and event halls. Our team met hundreds of transit professionals at conferences across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.
These events were an opportunity to listen, learn, and share what we’ve been working on - from multilingual capabilities to the latest findings from the GPTI. They also helped us gather insights that shaped our roadmap and strengthened our relationships with the global transit community.

Product improvements shaped by the people who use Mosaiq every day
Throughout 2025, we rolled out a series of updates across the Mosaiq suite, all designed to make daily work simpler, more intuitive, and more actionable.
Key enhancements like stop detection and Running Times gave authorities and operators clearer visibility into their networks, helping them monitor journeys more accurately and identify opportunities for improvement.
Alongside these features, workflow improvements in Mosaiq Insights, upgraded data quality tools, and interface refinements shaped by customer feedback all shared a single purpose: to help teams get the clarity they need - faster and more reliably.
You can explore everything we delivered this year in our 2025 release notes.
Looking ahead to 2026: more insights, more reach, more collaboration
The progress we’ve made in 2025 has set the stage for an exciting year ahead. In 2026, we’ll continue expanding the GPTI with new Spotlight editions, deepening our presence in key global markets, and introducing features that make unified transit data even more accessible.
We’re committed to supporting authorities and operators through the challenges and opportunities shaping public transport - helping them deliver networks that are reliable, efficient, and centred on the passenger experience.
