Do you offer pilots for Mosaiq?

Mosaiq is a SaaS-based system with no long-term contract, so you're welcome to try out our tools without ongoing commitment.

What data formats does Mosaiq support?

We support GTFS and GTFS-RT out of the box, but we can work with a diverse range of standardised and bespoke data formats.

We’re always adding working with new data formats, so let us know if your network works with a different data format.

We want you to have the flexibility to work with different vendors and systems, without needing to worry about compatibility issues. Working with standardised data formats helps us connect to more tools while reducing the costs of integration and maintenance.

How seamlessly does Mosaiq share transit data with my other tools?

You should have the flexibility to work with different vendors and systems without having to worry about compatibility issues, so we’ve built Mosaiq to be a modular set of tools. Mosaiq uses standardised data formats, so we’re already speaking the same language as your existing system.

To make this work, we provide partners secure access to inbound and outbound APIs that we can easily integrate with other systems. This helps us share data wherever it’s needed in the network.

How do you keep Mosaiq secure?

We regularly conduct security audits and penetration tests to proactively identify and solve any issues. Our team practices fundamental security principles, like the principle of least privilege, to ensure that our platform is secure. This helps us build a strong foundation while giving our developers and support staff the tools they need to manage our platform safely.

We use various monitoring tools to keep an eye on our environment in real-time. These include a SIEM and AWS solutions that log and track metrics across our infrastructure.

Mosaiq is designed to ensure that customers’ data is strictly not shared with unauthorised persons. To access the API, users need a unique API key issued by Snapper. This key only grants access to the data that you are authorized to access as a customer.

We practice the defence-in-depth strategy in developing the Mosaiq platform. This concept is the quintessential driver and is foremost in our vision of security whilst building the foundational blocks of our platform

All data at rest stored in the Mosaiq platform is encrypted with the industry standard AES-256 encryption algorithm, and all data in transit is encrypted using the latest TLS standards.

Mosaiq uses security practices aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework’s security pillar. Data is kept secure at every level of the solution using modern and layered security practices, while regular security audits ensure ongoing integrity.

How often do you update Mosaiq Insights?

We’re constantly adding new features and capabilities to Mosaiq, and we push updates out to users as soon as they become available. We post about these updates on our Release Notes page – click here to see the most recent changes.
