What data does Ask Mosaiq use to answer my questions?

Ask Mosaiq shares insights based on your secure network data. If you ask questions that involve non-transit data (such as historical weather information), Mosaiq leverages third party resources that may vary from geography to geography and that can change at any time.

Can Ask Mosaiq make mistakes?

Yes. AI can make mistakes. It will always show evidence alongside its answers. The final judgement stays with you.

Is my data secure?

Yes, as certified by the AWS Partner Government Competency. Mosaiq Insights is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and built to the AWS Well-Architected Framework. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, access is restricted to authorised personnel, and we test regularly through independent penetration testing. Your data is not shared with other tenants.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored securely in the cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Data is encrypted when stored and when sent between your browser and our servers.

What is the impact on Mosaiq’s carbon footprint?

Ask Mosaiq inherits its sustainability footprint from the wider Mosaiq Transit Intelligence Suite, which has achieved the AWS Partner Government Competency and has been thoroughly assessed on the basis of the Well Architected pillars, one of which is Sustainability. We choose our suppliers carefully to align with our decarbonisation goals.

Can I ask questions about other topics?

No. Ask Mosaiq is restricted to public transport performance analysis by Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, so it won't wander into unrelated topics or invent data it doesn't have. You can however augment your public transport questions with things such as weather filters. If you don’t know what Ask Mosaiq can and cannot do, just ask it.

How much support and onboarding will I receive?

Free plan users can access the Knowledge Base directly through Ask Mosaiq. Dedicated 1:1 support from our Customer Success Team is available with our paid plans. If you have general feedback or spot something that's not working as expected, we still want to hear from you. Contact us.

Can I turn Ask Mosaiq off when using Mosaiq Insights?

Ask Mosaiq has become the gateway to the knowledge base for Mosaiq users. The components that leverage LLMs to produce AI-assisted analysis can be switched off for Enterprise customers.

Which AI model powers Ask Mosaiq?

Ask Mosaiq is built on fully isolated Anthropic's Claude models, hosted within our AWS environment via Amazon Bedrock. Your interactions with Ask Mosaiq are never made available to Anthropic.

Does Ask Mosaiq store my conversation history, and for how long?

Yes, your entire chat history is retained indefinitely and can be revisited.

Can I request that my chats are deleted?

Users can delete individual chats.

Does my data train the AI model, or get shared with other customers?

No, Mosaiq does not use your data to train AI models, nor do the underlying LLM models. Your data is not shared with other tenants.
